Professor Krüppenkaiser worked for MI6/MI7 in Cheltenham. He had been an Obersturm-Führer during the Second World War, based in Berlin on 20 April 1945. He had not divulged his past to the British Security Services and was blackmailed by T.G.B.W. Cribbling.
