The South African War was a conflict fought between Transvaal and Natal. Transvaal declared war on Natal at 12:11AM on May 26, 2007 - in an attempt to consolidate on their recent territorial expansion in southern Africa as a result of success during the Congo War. As well, Afrikaner national aggressiveness played a factor as right-wing elements within the Transvaal government wished to keep the hated Zulus in their place.
