Rugi Corrino was the youngest of the five daughters of Padishah Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV. Rugi was picked to attend the dedication ceremony of the new Palace of Emperor Paul Atreides on Arrakis. During the ceremony procession, assassins struck the entire royal family and their guests, killing and injuring many of them. Rugi was one of those killed.
