The UNSC-Jiralhanae War occurred from 2554 to 2557, following the UNSC-Covenant War. The war was fought between the UNSC and the remainder of the Brute Fleet. The majority of the fighting occurred in Brute-held space, with the exception of the Battle of Mars. The war would prove to the be the undoing of the Brute fleet. The war saw the death of several iconic UNSC officers, including Captain Calvin Pershing and Colonel Robert Fazio, both heroes from the Human-Covenant War.
