Bill Scott is a former NASCAR driver from Brevard, NC. He competed in two Nextel Cup Series events in his career. Scott's debut came in 1982, when he competed at Talladega. Starting 39th in his own equipment, Scott lost a piston near the halfway point but still managed to finish 28th. Scott was unable to improve upon that in his other race, coming in 1985 at Pocono. Starting 36th in the field of forty, Scott again had a mechanical issue near the halfway point and finished 32nd.
