Sallis, as a member of the Anti-Ori underground, a group trying to uncover the truth about their people's history, realized that her beliefs could one day claim her life, and was forced to pose as a loyal Ori follower. However, she secretly hid items predating the supposed creation of humans by the Ori, including two Ancient Long-range communication stones in her house until her group would one day have gathered enough evidence to convince even the most stubborn believer.
