Selina was a female Barkonian who joined the USS Valiant in -. For over three years she became a valuable member of the crew; she served as a field medic, and was in charge of the airponics bay. She eventually left Valiant in order to explore her increasingly powerful mental abilities. She was romantically involved with Trivix and human Riley Shepard. At the time of her departure from the ship, she was dating Shepard.
