Simon was a member of the 15th Alpha Tactical Armored Corps during early stages of the Second Robotech War. He was part of the mission to infiltrate the enemy flagship, but was knocked out of his Hover Tank when a Bioroid destroyed it. He thus had to stay behind from the rest of the team as to not slow down the mission, much to his dismay. Private Jordan was also left behind to protect him. At some point after this, they were killed by the Masters — their bodies noted as the team evacuated hours later. (Masters Saga: "The Trap")
