Little Book of Meerkats looks into the family dynamics, gang culture, habitat, diet, sustenance, enemies and a day in the life of a meerkat. The book covers information regarding some of the meerkat's prey such as scorpions, beetles and millipedes, as well as meerkat predators like jackals, cobras and martial eagles. Much of the book is also devoted to "The Meerkat Manor Phenomenon", covering facts about the show Meerkat Manor and how it made meerkats popular. However, some of the details given on specific characters were untrue and occasionally photographs of captive meerkats were used instead of images of the real meerkats.
