Stephen Billington was born 10th December, 1969 in Bolton, Greater Manchester. He trained as an actor at the Drama Centre in London, graduating in 1993. He played parts in The Buccaneers and Space Precinct and appeared on the big screen in Braveheart in 1995. After more television roles in Out of the Blue and Jonathan Creek, he came to a wide public attention for his leading role as Lysander Hawkley in the raunchy adaptation of Jilly Cooper's The Man Who Made Husbands Jealous in 1997. He also now teaches acting at his old drama school and the Method Studio in London.
