Ser Alliser Thorne is one of the main antagonists of the Night's Watch storyline in A Song of Ice and Fire and its adaptation, Game of Thrones. He personally serves as the main antagonist of Jon Snow's storyline until Season 6 Episode 3. He is a ranger of the Night's Watch and served as one of its masters-at-arms. The tone of his voice and his contempt makes him hated by all the Night's Watch's recruits. In the TV series, he is portrayed by Owen Teale.
