Anakin Skywalker, who later became Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith, apprentice to Dark Sidious, is the father to Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker. From the latter he was saved on the Death Star II, because Luke was able to heal him using the Light Side of the Force. After his rescue, he became something similar to a Grey Jedi.
