Bannut urs Hannut is a Scylvendi warrior of the Utemot tribes, and Cnaiür urs Skiötha's uncle. Bannut betrays Cnaiür at the Battle of Kiyuth, believing Cnaiür unworthy of being Chieftain of the Utemot because of his relationship with Anasûrimbor Moënghus thirty years prior. When Cnaiür realizes his treachery, he strangles his uncle to death.
