Selina Kyle appeared through flashbacks that depicted her death, in the pilot episode of the 2002 television series, Birds of Prey. The show featured Batman and Catwoman's daughter, the Huntress, also known as Helena Kyle. In contrast to the comic book version, she was a metahuman. It was also mentioned that her sudden death (along with the paralyzing of Barbara Gordon at the hands of The Joker) sent Batman into self-imposed isolation.
