Butler's career began in 2000 when he starred in an episode of the NBC medical drama ER. Over the past eleven years, he has served as one-time characters in shows such as Without A Trace, NUMB3RS, The Closer, 24, and Criminal Minds. He performed in a made-for-TV movie, Hound Dogs, in 2011.
