Prince (Shahzada) Ambrosio-Paolo Sayd was a son of Prince (Shahzada) Pierre-Muhammad Sayd and The Noble Maria-Concetta Doria, daughter of the Consul of Genoa. Around the early 1500s, he was taken to Malta with his brother, Prince Nicola, by an uncle, to meet the Maltese Capitano della Verga. Prince (Shahzada) Ambrosio-Paolo Sayd married and settled in Malta. He was the brother of Prince (Shahzada) Oshin-Pierre Sayd, Princess (Shahzadi) Helena Sayd, Princess (Shahzadi) Concetta Sayd, Prince (Shahzada) Nicola Sayd and Prince (Shahzada) Mustafa-Tommaso Sayd.
