Hanging City was a world that was going to be explored by Crash in Crash Bandicoot: Evolution. In the city, the rich lived in the large towers floating in the sky via giant balloons: the slums were far below the towers on the surface of the planet. There would be workers on the surface that resemble anthropomorphic turtles. Originally, they were meant to help Crash in the fight against the Evil Twins. In the slums of Hanging City, it would be raining, very cloudy and dark for unknown reasons. However, due to the game being cancelled and refurbished into Crash Twinsanity, the world and its levels was scrapped.
