Ratings are both based off of and given in BOTH the standard TV Ratings AND Movie Ratings system, which is broadly used in the United States of America. They are as follows: * Y: Children's stories. Intended for younger audiences. Morality tales. Absolutely NO profanity, sexuality, violence, or innuendo. * Y7/G: Also for younger audiences, but with VERY mild fictional violence, such as slapstick comedy (think: Tom and Jerry). * Teen/PG: Intended for preteens. Fictional violence, budding romance, and VERY tame cussing allowed (words like "dang", "darn", and "crud"). * Teen+/PG13: Intended for teenagers and older. Romance, with LIGHT undertones of sexual tension, OK. Violence, as long as the consequences are CLEARLY shown and gore is not excessive, also OK. No nudity
