The First Banishment occured at the end of the Sydney Losstarot War in the First Age. The demon Yurius was sealed by the mage Raistlin I just when Yurius was about to destroy all life in the world. The First Banishment shook the very foundations of the world, and as a result the Floating Continent of Alent fell to the sea while many continents shifted. This event marked the ending of the First Age and the beginning of the Second Age.
