Terreil is an Areltsi who was among the first six students of the Tetral Temple. He joined just after Emanuel and specialized in diplomacy. While he was capable of fighting, he preferred peaceful endeavors such as diplomacy, missions of mercy, and healing. He had a calm and serene personality and almost never grew angry.
