Akemi Sato (佐藤 朱, Satō Akemi, born May 16, 1980 in the Akita Prefecture) is a Japanese voice actor. After participating in a Seiyuu Granprix audition contest, Sato admitted into Aoni Jyuku (Aoni Production's educational program) in Tokyo. Since then, she has been affiliated with the same voice acting agency. Her nickname is Akechi. During her free time, Sato practices Shorinji Kempo and likes to travel alone to places. She owns and loves a cat named Gin Shari, sometimes taking her pet with her in her travel bag. Sato is best known for being the second voice of Shiori Misaka in Kanon.
