Conniving, idealistic, and obsessed with small-scale control, Artifice is not fond of entering battle personally. A middle-manager to the core, he prefers to delegate responsibility to his peers, staying out of the fight and providing information about enemies' weak points to braver and more ruthless Decepticons. On occasions when he is forced onto the field of combat, however, he wields a lightning cannon and a sun ray.
