Rennie is most well known in the comics field for his work on British perennial comics powerhouse anthology series 2000 AD, where he eventually ascended to the unofficial rank of "number two" Judge Dredd writer for the series over time. In addition to his comic strips for 2000 AD, Rennie created White Trash: Moronic Inferno, and novels for Warhammer Fantasy.
