Ranged Isobics are Isobics that don't shoot ice, but rock! They appear on Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals as Krawl Dust on the planet Fons. If you wear a type of suit that is under level 4, it will be over halfway damage to Rallen. It is sort of hard to dodge this kind of Isobic, so I would recommend getting stronger armor before heading to Fons.
