Wave is the term used to refer to the incoming group of enemies in the Tower Defense genre of games, like Crystal Defenders. Each wave consists of the same enemy all with the same HP and ability. As the waves progress the enemies get stronger and more numerous. Each game type shares the same waves between all four of its maps.
