The Lord of Ascension Tournament is an annual tournament held by the Apex Wrestling Syndicate. The tournament is held each January and commences at the Lord of Ascension PPV. The tournament was designed so that the winner would become the number one contender for the AWS World Heavyweight Championship. The winner would be guaranteed a title shot at the February PPV Danger Zone.
