Matt Deary was a wood carver that helped Dr. Magrew to carve a puppet . Magrew murdered him and transported his soul into the puppet, but it didn't work how he planned, the puppet was in agony and so Magrew was forced to burn and bury it. Matt's disappearance lead to the investigation by Sherrif Garvey.
