Polenonne (Bedaye: Podoneyn, "River Roots Cronenn") is the capital, and most-populous city of the Badlands. Polenonne is jointly ruled by the Four Great Generals of the Badlands (Great General Governor Ferbles Blachorn, Great General Corr Herson, Duchess Great General Gwenn Sefendel, and Great General Renngus 'Gus' Etaye) at the Four Scorpions; four giant stone scorpions that serve as the personal quarters of the Four Great Generals, located just a few kilometers northwest of Polenonne on the Mandible Peninsula. They are made of stone quarried over from the Tooth Mountains.
