An Imperial Base located on the Mid Rim world of Naboo, some distance west of the Gungan Sacred Place, was in operation during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Under the control of the Galactic Empire, the base was once used to detain a Rebel spy by the name of Simo Oron, before he was transferred off world. However, his personal effects, including a sensitive contact list, were left behind. Protocol droid C-3PO tasked a Rebel operative with recovering this list before it ended up being discovered by the Empire.
