The HMS Faye was constructed shortly after Sir Thomas Faye retired. The construction was ordered by King George I of England. When it was completed, it stayed at dock for many years. Finally, when the construction of Port Tariff was completed by Faye's son, Matthew Blastshot, the ship was ordered to be sent there.
