The participants are decided by an invitational, then randomly divided into four separate rings with its own unique stipulation (Valor, Steel, Wire, and Fire). The winners of the four rings advance to a Fatal Four-Way match, where the winner becomes the Hayabusa Cup winner. In addition to winning the trophy, the winner is also awarded with a special stipulation. The Hayabusa Cup was named after puroresu legend, Hayabusa.
