Jowanna Rose appeared on Coronation Street intermittently between July 2005 and May 2012 in the recurring role of DC Merrick. She graduated from Bretton Hall College in 1993 with a BA (Hons) in Theatre Arts, and has been credited for roles in Always and Everyone, The Forsyte Saga, Wall of Silence, Donovan, Sea of Souls and See No Evil: The Moors Murders.
