Mr. Hoyt is the District Attorney of Latham County who prosecuted the New York Four (Jerry Seinfeld, Elaine Benes, George Costanza, and Cosmo Kramer) with Jackie Chiles as their lawyer. Starting in "The Finale, Part 1," he talks with his people stating that Latham is going to be swarming with different medias when this trial is over as the whole country will be watching. He then quotes to his people "Now we got to do whatever it takes to win it, no matter what the cost. The big issue in this trial is going to be character.
