Ruta is one of the main characters of Shugo Chara!: The Movie, and the original anims' true fan reboot, Shugo Chara!: Galactic Journey. His Guardian Character is Shibo, and was titled as The Ward of Twilight (黄昏の病棟 Kasogare no Byoutou?). Ruta's alter ego is Spring Night.
