Manuel Hernandez was the commanding officer of the UNSC Above Reproach. He served in the UNSC Navy during the Human-Covenant War. Shortly before the Battle of the Great Bear, Hernadez gave his last orders, which were to send the ship into Slipspace. After the ship was struck by a plasma torpedo, he suffered a brain hemorrhage and died shortly afterwards.
