Pleased Sally seems to have got the message, Laurel takes advantage of the alone time with Ashley. Whilst Laurel is at work, Sally offers to take the family out to dinner but Ashley explains Laurel has planned a surprise. Later, Laurel arrives at the Church to deal with the parish paperwork only to find Sally is already there. Fuming Laurel demands to know if Sally is deliberately trying to wind her up. When Laurel insults Sally’s failed marriage she finds it hard to keep her anger in and has to leave. Before Sally goes she menacingly positions the heater closer to the vestry curtain. Pleased with herself she locks the door leaving Laurel inside the church unaware of the terror about to unfold.
