The Dauphin Kings were a Intermediate hockey team from Dauphin, Manitoba. The Team was simply called Dauphin, when they captured thier first two Manitoba Championships in 1934 and 41. In 1949, they joined the Big Six Intermediate Hockey League and rattled off four straight League and Manitoba Championships. Then in the first two years of the 60's, while in the Riding Mountain Intermediate Hockey League, two more were added. Dauphin set the bar for Intermediate hockey in Manitoba, with thier 5th championship. Then raised the record to eight. The Warroad Lakers tied the record in the late 80's. The Kings secured Manitoba first two Western Canada Championships. Another Manitoba record, since tied by the Lakers and the North End Flyers.
