The Muncie Flyers were a minor league professional ice hockey team in the International Hockey League during the 1948–49 season. The Flyers were based in Muncie, Indiana, and led by player/coach Henry Coupe. The team's owners gave up the team on February 4th and agreed to let the players run the team as a cooperative until the end of the season. The Flyers folded at the end of the season.
