Goomber is a Goomba with a helmet, and Mario's first partner in Paper Mario: The Sage's Quest. He join's Mario after hitting Mario on the head in Goomville. He is planning on joining the Goomba Battalion someday, and practices very hard. He keeps a book on all his enemies' attacks, weaknesses, and some interesting facts that he uses as his Tattle Log.
