Kathy Jones (born 7th April, 1954 in Manchester) played Tricia Hopkins on Coronation Street from 1973 to 1976, although the actress had appeared on the programme previously as a non-speaking extra. Kathy also appeared in a 1978 episode of All Creatures Great and Small. In 1967 she won Best Female Vocalist in the Granada Television talent show First Timers and then the following year was a series winner of the talent show Opportunity Knocks.
