Klingon battleship was a designation given to a type of battleship starship that was utilized by the Klingon Empire. In 2248, the Federation starship USS King Richard, under the command of Karis Tatenen, encountered several Klingon battleships operating in the vicinity of Vonra in violation of the treaty between the Empire and the Federation, and proceeded to engage them.
