Shovel Knight hurls a small anchor skywards; as he swings it, he has Super Armor, and while falling the anchor meteors opponents hit by it. The angle at which the anchor is thrown can be adjusted; by throwing it with a backwards input, Shovel Knight throws it straight upwards; with an upwards input, Shovel Knight throws it at the normal angle but with a much higher peak; with forwards input, the anchor is thrown the farthest.
