Rabbi Yankel (Yaakov) Miller or the Yarma Rav as he prefers to be called, is a popular comedian in Hasidic Jewish communities. He lives in Monsey, New York. Rabbi Miller is a badchan ("jokester"), and performs at celebrations, such as weddings, stepping up and entertaining the guests and wedding party. He is also the author of a book referencing works of Rabbi Moses Sofer (the Chatham Sofer), organized according to the parashioth (weekly Torah portions). Miller has performed at thousands of events, as well as recorded his own comedy albums.
