The show was created and produced by Greg Carlson, who also served as host and appeared on most of the episodes. Originally presented in a four-person discussion format, the show eventually evolved (or devolved) to include other unorthodox content, such as multipart episodes in which Carlson's father Bruce was seen sanding a living room floor in a continuous shot that lasted the entire running time.
