Photron is a flaming deity and king of a race of fire beings. It played an important role in the history of the galaxy by having forged the holy sword Galaxia years ago while the universe was still young. Galaxia took Photron many years to make, after which Nightmare Enterprises hired the great beast Kirisakin to steal the sacred blade and hide it in a dark cave, where Meta Knight and Garlude would later travel to in order to reclaim it. Photron's only appearance in the anime is when Tiff learns of Galaxia's past.
