Sir Doric is the Battlemaster of Norgate Fief. He was described as brisk, lacking tact and diplomacy during his appearance in The Siege of Macindaw. Doric appeared rather briefly, near-stripping Norgate's garrison dry to reinforce Castle Macindaw, only to find the castle under the control of Gundar Hardstriker and his crew. After a slight argument with Will and Horace, he agrees to their arrangements and leads a relief column north to the border with Picta, to ensure that the Scotti army had withdrawn from Araluen.
