The Korribanites were the original inhabitants of the planet Korriban. They were an apelike species. They were thought to have been killed in some cataclysmic event, prior to the Original Sith becoming the dominant species. In truth, they, the Original Sith, and the Massassi fled to the underground caverns of Korriban to escape the Sith followers. This mass evacuation was based on a prophecy from an Original Sith named, Oig Lrack. When Nathan went to the Court of Yun-Coria, the combined races followed him and attacked the Yuuzhan Vong and Sith at the apropos moment.
