Beron Stark was the head of House Stark and Lord of Winterfell. He ruled the North during the reign of King Aerys I. He was the youngest son of Lord Brandon Stark and grandson of Cregan Stark. He married Lorra Royce and had eight children; Artos, Rodrik, Donnor, Errold, Brandon, Alysanne, Berena and Willam. Lord Beron gathered swords to throw Dagon Greyjoy's ironmen back into the sea and made common cause with the Lord of Casterly Rock for it.
