Verinella was the Queen of Naboo. In 8 ABY, she mysteriously disappeared. In reality, she assumed her alter ego, Asha. As Asha, she investigated foul goings-on on Naboo which she discovered were the machinations of Panaka. When Panaka's attempted coup failed, Asha revealed that she was Verinella, and resumed the throne.
