Arminestra, the Mother of Peace was a character on Xena: Warrior Princess. She was a reincarnation of Xena, who worked to bring peace to a fractured India at some point in Xena's future. The Mother of Peace enjoyed great success in her work, but had great difficulty with Khindin, a future incarnation of Alti. A Darsham named Naiyima became aware of the difficulties that would arise in the karmic cycle if Khindin could not be defeated and sent Xena's soul forward in time in the hopes of tricking Alti into traveling backwards, so that she would face a stronger incarnation of Arminestra (Xena herself).
